Note: Albs Labs is hiring multiple Staff- and Senior-level IC roles across four focus areas; this entry covers the LLM Pre-Training focus (model architectures and optimizers). We seek researchers to design and optimize LLM pre-training architectures, exploration of model components, and optimization strategies that enable efficient, scalable training. Responsibilities include developing pre-training methods, benchmarking, and contributing to system-level design for real-time multimodal models. Requirements typically include a PhD with several years of research or industry experience, or an equivalent track record. Location: Freiburg, Germany. On-site only. Full-time role.
