Note: Albs Labs is hiring multiple Staff- and Senior-level IC roles across four focus areas; this entry covers the LLM Pre-Training focus (model architectures and optimizers). We are looking for senior researchers to lead pre-training architecture exploration, optimizer development, and large-scale experiments for multimodal models. Responsibilities include setting research direction, mentoring researchers, and collaborating with engineering teams to deploy pre-trained models. Requirements typically include a PhD with extensive research or industry experience, or an equivalent track record. Location: Freiburg, Germany. On-site only. Full-time role.
