Job Description

Head of Engineering at Youth Inc. will own the architecture, execution, and evolution of the proprietary commerce platform while building and leading a small, high-impact engineering team. This is the most senior technical role in the company and reports directly to the CEO. It’s not a pure management role nor a code-only role; you will influence business decisions and contribute technically. Requirements include: experience at a growth-stage company; 8+ years of engineering experience with meaningful time leading teams; strong communication skills; full-stack technical depth; e-commerce or marketplace experience preferred; Elixir or Phoenix experience a plus but not a requirement. Location is Chicago, Nashville, or Boston preferred, with remote options for the right candidate.
