Job Description

Lead the documentation practice at Promptless: onboarding customers onto the platform, building the methodology for AI-assisted documentation, and growing our reputation as the company that makes docs teams more effective. This is a one-of-one role with ownership of the practice; you’ll operate like a senior practice lead at a top consulting firm, but the domain is docs and the leverage is AI. Deep experience in technical documentation (developer docs, API references, support content) is required; you should be comfortable reading code and excited about advancing LLM-assisted writing. You will build this function from scratch with an entrepreneurial mindset. This is an onsite role in San Francisco. Salary $140k–$200k plus equity.
