Ambito is seeking a Founding AI Engineer (equity partner) for a remote role. 10+ hours/week initially; equity-only; work directly with founders and a technical partner. Responsibilities include building AI product features: native assistant that can answer questions about customer data, surface trends, provide setup guidance, and help generate QBRs; focus on retrieval, tool use, structured-data queries, evals, and cost control. Extend the existing framework into account reviews, renewals, and customer health; Harden and expand CRM/CS integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.); Improve the overall experience to be faster, simpler, and more AI-native. Requirements include shipping LLM features in production, comfort with retrieval, embeddings, tool calling, agent workflows, and evaluation; ability to work across React, TypeScript, and Node (Firebase experience is a plus).
