Job Description

Principal Engineer responsible for a significant chunk of the architecture at Project Healthy Minds, a mental health nonprofit building a care navigation platform. Onsite in NYC. You’ll own backend and frontend work (NestJS backend, Next.js frontend) and data pipelines for provider and condition data; AI-native approach with LLM-powered data enrichment; shape engineering culture and hiring; startup environment; comfortable making architecture calls while writing code daily. Experience with data-heavy consumer products (search, marketplaces, health tech) is a strong plus.
