Goblins is hiring a
Founding Engineer

About Goblins

Goblins is revolutionizing education by providing AI-driven one-on-one support in classrooms. Students can draw math on any device, and the AI provides instant feedback to build conceptual foundations. Goblins launched a private beta in March with 15 schools and 300 students, and now has a waitlist of 2,300 teachers, with paid school and district customers across the US and Mexico. The company has raised funds from angels and received a grant from the Gates Foundation.

Job Description

You'll be joining founding team members Sawyer (CEO, former Head of Design at X1 [acquired by Robinhood] and math teacher) and Alp (CTO, ex-Stripe and Amazon), plus two other exceptional founding engineers. We move fast, care deeply about craft, and obsess over delighting users. Technical problems that we find interesting include building knowledge graphs that adapt to student performance in real-time, extending handwriting recognition from digital canvas to real paper through Chromebook cameras, and creating interactive mathematical lessons. If you're interested, email alp@goblinsapp.com.
