Job Description

Founding Product Engineer responsible for building location APIs for AI apps and agents. You’ll be one of the first engineers, working across search/ranking, data pipelines, evaluations, and API development. You’ll shape what gets built and have a big say in product direction. Stack includes Python, FastAPI, Postgres/PostGIS, DynamoDB, Redis, AWS (EKS), and ML models plus LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic). Requirements: 2+ years shipping production systems, or fewer if you can show what you’ve built; strong experience in at least one of: search/IR, large-scale data processing, ML systems, API design; experience with Claude Code, Cursor or similar; geo/POI data experience is a plus. Note: small team, fast pace; nights/weekends possible. Process: a short note on why you, a 30-minute call with me and then Vlad, a technical deep dive, then a paid trial project.
