Downtown Music is looking for their first AI Engineer to pioneer AI solutions for music rights management at scale. Responsibilities include building systems processing millions of music transactions and royalty calculations, developing scalable LLM/ML prototypes for complex music industry challenges, and integrating production AI across global infrastructure. Requirements include experience with production distributed systems, APIs, data pipelines at scale, AI/ML beyond tutorials, full-stack development with Python, JavaScript, databases, cloud infrastructure, and 0-to-1 development from concept to production. Standout experience includes high-volume AI data processing systems, real-time AI applications or streaming pipelines, and AI deployment tooling and monitoring. The role offers the opportunity to direct AI strategy and set the technical foundation with unprecedented influence and minimal constraints.
