Portless is building AI infrastructure to enable end-to-end agentic workflows across teams. Currently AI adoption is basic (decks, spreadsheets, call summaries, dashboards). The founding AI engineer will ship high-impact agentic workflows and build reusable "Lego blocks" (APIs, MCP tools, docs) so any team can build their own workflows. This is a cross-functional, high-leverage role working directly with leadership. Example project: an inbound invoice questions agent that understands the question, pulls the right invoice, drafts a context-aware reply for a teammate to click-send, turning roughly an hour of work into ~30 seconds.
