Founding Computational Geometry Engineer
About Anvil
Seed-stage (VC backend) company building a vertically integrated design and manufacturing platform for precision mechanical parts. Developing CAD/CAM software running on top of our own manufacturing facility. The team has previously built CAD kernels, design software, and autonomous robotic manipulators, and comes from Amazon Robotics, Siemens, nTop, and Vicarious Surgical. We aim to own the full process from design to shop floor with ML to turn CAD files into machine instructions.

Responsibilities include STEP AP242 ingestion, B-rep surgery, feature recognition, and building the geometry layer underneath our DFM and CAM pipelines. If you’ve worked on Parasolid, OCCT, nTop, or anything touching BRep diff, parametric replay, or differentiable geometry, we’d like to talk. Proficiency in C++ and Python is expected.Remote
