Job Description

Albert is hiring a Principal Engineer to build net-new consumer products end-to-end. This role is part of a small, senior-heavy team with direct ownership and fast iteration. We are looking for top-tier craft, someone who ships prototypes on weekends, and is comfortable owning 0 to 1 products end-to-end. Note: we are hiring both Principal Engineer and Distinguished Engineer roles; this entry covers Principal Engineer. Responsibilities include designing, building, and shipping high-impact features for our consumer fintech product, collaborating across engineering, product, and design, and contributing to scalable architecture. Requirements: exceptional technical craft, product sense, ability to work across a small team with minimal bureaucracy, comfort with ambiguity, and an interest in building from zero to one.
