Job Description

Join Tower as a Senior Backend / Platform Engineer to own deep systems work (scheduling, distributed execution, performance) on Tower's Python-native serverless data platform. You'll work on the platform built with Go and Rust, Kubernetes on AWS (EKS + Karpenter), and services like RDS Postgres, ElastiCache Redis, S3/Iceberg, and WorkOS for auth. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership, ensuring correctness under load, and contributing to the runtime and dispatch system. Bonus: experience with data-platforms, Iceberg, query engine, async Rust, and Kubernetes internals. Location: London or Berlin; Hybrid work arrangement.
