Job Description

Lead efforts in drug design and build iterative end-to-end automated discovery workflows. Responsibilities include collaborating with researchers to translate problems into ML-powered software, building scalable data pipelines, and integrating AI/ML models into the platform. Background in AI/ML required; bioscience exposure helpful (bioinformatics, protein engineering/design). The platform generates massive datasets of antibody-protein interactions (10^5–10^6 at once) and closes the loop between protein design and data collection with custom hardware, enabling cycles as short as two weeks. This position is on-site in San Diego (Carlsbad).
