MONUMENTAL is hiring a
Software Engineer
About MONUMENTAL
We’re creating robots that autonomously construct buildings. We design all of our hardware and software in-house in central Amsterdam, and we’re starting with autonomous bricklaying robots. We have built a machine vision pipeline that can achieve sub-millimetre localisation on construction sites, and a neat software stack that lets us configure and control robots with ease. We’re deploying our robots on real construction sites and have started making the first revenue from our bricklaying-as-a-service model.
Job Description
We’re seeking experienced software engineers for multiple roles to help scale our autonomous robotics platform. Key areas include (1) data synchronization and analytics across a fleet of robots that may be offline for hours, (2) modelling buildings in code and crafting UI for operators to edit them, and (3) designing systems for robots to drive safely and fully autonomously around construction sites. This role may involve a mix of firmware debugging, frontend development (React components), and software that coordinates hardware on site. Robotics experience is not required. Note: there are multiple software engineering roles; this entry represents one of several positions.Remote Conditions
Onsite only. Amsterdam-based location preferred; remote work not offered.
