MONUMENTAL is hiring a
Software Engineer

About MONUMENTAL

We’re creating robots that autonomously construct buildings. We design all of our hardware and software in-house in central Amsterdam, and we’re starting with autonomous bricklaying robots. We have built a machine vision pipeline that can achieve sub-millimetre localisation on construction sites, and a neat software stack that lets us configure and control robots with ease. We’re deploying our robots on real construction sites and have started making the first revenue from our bricklaying-as-a-service model.

Job Description

We’re looking for experienced software engineers for many roles. You will work on data sync and analytics across a fleet of robots (some offline for hours), model buildings in code and build UI for operators to edit them, and design systems for robots to drive safely and fully autonomously around a building site. Robotics experience is not required. Onsite in Amsterdam. This role covers multiple software engineering positions across the organization; the scope includes both firmware/debugging and software development (React components, full-stack work).
