MONUMENTAL is hiring a
Software Engineer
About MONUMENTAL
We’re creating robots that autonomously construct buildings. We design all of our hardware and software in-house in central Amsterdam, and we’re starting with autonomous bricklaying robots. We have built a machine vision pipeline that can achieve sub-millimetre localisation on construction sites, and a neat software stack that lets us configure and control robots with ease. We’re deploying our robots on real construction sites and have started making the first revenue from our bricklaying-as-a-service model.
Job Description
We are looking for experienced software engineers for multiple roles. Work spans across the stack from firmware-level debugging to building user interfaces and data systems. Responsibilities include: data sync and analytics across a fleet of robots (robots can be offline for hours), modelling buildings in code with UI for operators, and designing systems for robots to drive safely and autonomously on construction sites. This role covers multiple software engineering roles at Monumental; you may be part of one or more teams. Robotics experience is not required.Remote Conditions
