Note: This posting covers two roles. Role 2: Independent Embedded/Firmware Engineer (Bring-up Audit & Stability). Remote, UK/EU preferred. We’re shipping on real hardware; reliability beats elegance. You will own independent review of firmware/bring-up assumptions, validate performance, thermals, power behavior, and stability; develop reproducible test plans (what breaks, how to detect, how to recover); produce documentation to prevent knowledge living in one head. If you’ve shipped embedded systems that survive ugly realities (packet loss, unplugging, thermal throttling, storage corruption), we want to talk. You will collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure robust bring-up, testability, and long-term maintainability.
