I lead the Platform organisation: three teams (Core Platform/Infra, Developer Enablement, SRE) that build the foundation our engineering ships on. Go and Python, Kubernetes on cloud and on-prem, some of it air-gapped. Terraform/OpenTofu, Istio, Vault, LGTM stack, OpenTelemetry. Mission-critical systems.
Job Description
We are hiring three roles at ICEYE: Staff Platform Engineer. You own the Kubernetes platform across cloud and on-prem, build and extend tooling in Go, and set the technical direction for Platform. Works across Core Platform/Infra, Developer Enablement, and SRE. Requirements include hands-on Kubernetes and cloud experience, comfort with on-prem and air-gapped environments, and empathy for developers. Tech: Go, Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, Istio, Vault, OpenTelemetry. Relocation welcome; Hybrid work in Espoo or Berlin.Remote Conditions
