Foam is hiring a hands-on Staff Founding Engineer to help build a Better Sentry on the AI-focused observability stack. Competitive salary of $300,000–$400,000 per year plus equity. This is an in-person, full-time role in San Francisco (Mon-Fri 9am-7pm). You’ll join a founding team to tackle high-impact problems: 1) reduce onboarding time from hours to seconds; 2) scale telemetry engine to petabytes; 3) collapse latency from minutes to seconds; 4) chess-competence with an intern at 2200+ ELO. You’ll work with a team including founders and early engineers; the company has raised $10M in seed funding from Khosla Ventures, Max Levchin, The House Fund, and South Park Commons.
