Job Description
Exponent is seeking a Lead Engineer for AI Accounting. You would own core systems in the Accountant: idempotent ingestion from unreliable third-party APIs, the background jobs that keep thousands of accounts in sync, and the decisions about how LLM classification behaves inside a ledger that has to be right. Full stack, focused on backend architecture. Tech stack includes Rails, Postgres, and Sidekiq. Requires 5+ years of experience with server-side frameworks (Rails, Django, Phoenix, TypeScript) and fluency with AI-assisted development. Fintech and Rails experience are strong pluses.Remote
