Job Description

Bubblehouse is seeking a Principal Engineer to own the full stack and systems. You will have top-to-bottom understanding of the software stack, from the modern web platform to CPU caches, and be responsible for designing and delivering features in a fast-paced environment. The backend uses Go and custom data storage; the frontend renders server-side HTML with minimal JavaScript and zero React. You will help drive architecture decisions, solve challenging problems, and maintain software craftsmanship. Requirements include broad experience across multiple programming paradigms, the ability to learn quickly, excellent English communication, and the ability to work 9am–12pm Eastern Time. This role is fully remote and open to candidates globally.
