Founding Engineer role for BrightCore, a three-founder gym/fitness SaaS at pre-seed. Own the backend (NestJS/Postgres) (~70%) and Coral, our WhatsApp AI agent for member retention (~30%). First engineering hire with real ownership and equity. Tech stack: NestJS, Prisma, Postgres, Next.js, Anthropic API, and Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. Requirements: 3–5 years backend experience, comfortable shipping solo, genuine curiosity about LLMs and retention modelling; ML hobbyist preferred over ML PhD. Salary €58–€65k; equity 1.0–1.5%.
