Join a newly formed R&D team at Axis focused on rethinking how software is built using AI coding agents. Build next-generation video management software for cloud and on-prem environments while experimenting with tools like Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, and emerging agent workflows. This is a rare role where using agentic tooling isn’t a side experiment—it’s central to how the team operates. You’ll help define engineering workflows, evaluate new tools, and share learnings across the wider organization. Tech includes: TypeScript, Go, Rust. Bonus: GStreamer, FFmpeg, WebRTC, UX/UI. Looking for experienced engineers who ship production systems, think critically about tooling, and want to explore how autonomous agents can improve software design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Strong fit for developers interested in AI-assisted engineering, modern full-stack systems, developer productivity, and building real products with emerging workflows.
