About Xaira Therapeutics

Xaira Therapeutics is developing biological foundation models (not LLMs) to hit undruggable targets and cure disease. Not a SaaS company; the goal is to deliver medicines to patients. The team combines pharma veterans, AI scientists from Nobel laureate David Baker's lab, and engineers from tech to reimagine how drugs are made.

Job Description

Role focuses on modeling with the goal of making models better. You think in tensors, understand what makes a kernel fast, and obsess over training throughput. Responsibilities include prototyping and evaluating ML models, profiling performance, optimizing data pipelines and kernels, and collaborating with data and platform teams to scale experiments. Note: This posting covers multiple roles across four teams at Xaira Therapeutics (Research Engineering, X-Scientist, Data Engineering, ML Platform). Each role is listed separately below.
