Note: This posting includes two roles: Forward Deployed Engineer and Senior Forward Deployed Engineer. The Forward Deployed Engineer role is customer-facing and embeds with strategic customers to design, build, deploy, and improve production AI systems on Snowflake. Responsibilities include building end-to-end LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic workflows, developing evaluation frameworks, implementing guardrails and observability, and driving production iteration using Snowpark, Cortex, and Snowflake’s native AI capabilities. This role requires travel, including at least 25% onsite time with strategic customers. Qualifications emphasize strong software engineering, experience shipping customer-facing AI systems, and a passion for evals and quality.
