Job Description
Wireless Communications Engineer (SDR) with a strong background in signal theory and software wireless modems. Responsibilities include learning from reverse engineers, implementing open and recovered specifications, and refactoring existing modem code to improve both theoretical algorithms (e.g., state-of-the-art demodulation) and practical performance (memory bandwidth and CPU usage). Must be able to read and write C++ directly; DSP/FPGA and generated code experience are useful but not required. On-site/hybrid work in San Diego; export-controlled position requiring eligibility as a US Person. Salary range: $145kβ$200k. Startup environment with a collaborative team, good work-life balance, and equipment provided.Remote Conditions
Hybrid on-site in San Diego; must be able to come to the office as needed. Requires eligibility as a US Person due to export controls.
