Job Description

Wireless Communications Engineer (SDR) with a strong background in signal theory and software wireless modems. Responsibilities include learning from reverse engineers, implementing open and recovered specifications, and refactoring existing modem code to improve both theoretical algorithms (e.g., state-of-the-art demodulation) and practical performance (memory bandwidth and CPU usage). Must be able to read and write C++ directly; DSP/FPGA and generated code experience are useful but not required. On-site/hybrid work in San Diego; export-controlled position requiring eligibility as a US Person. Salary range: $145k–$200k.
