Job Description
SkySafe is seeking a Wireless Communications Engineer with SDR expertise to join the team. Qualifications: background in wireless communications, signal processing theory and math; experience building software-based wireless modems; experience writing and optimizing software-defined radio code in C++. Responsibilities: implement all components of software-defined modem systems from specifications alongside the reverse engineering team; optimize existing SDR modem systems both theoretically and in code; architect and implement high-level improvements to SDR systems (scheduling, compute offload). The role supports remote SDR work and is open to remote candidates; in San Diego there is an option for on-site; US export laws require eligible US Person status. Compensation: $145k–$200k.
