We operate the world’s largest metagenomic biosurveillance network, which performs daily sequencing of wastewater samples and nasal swabs to screen for emerging pathogens. Our computational team develops detection pipelines responsible for rapid processing of deep sequencing data in order to flag potential threats.

Job Description

Senior Software Engineer focused on high-performance data pipelines. This role will contribute to the development of high-throughput detection pipelines for metagenomic sequencing data. ONSITE strongly preferred in Cambridge, MA; REMOTE (US East Coast) possible for exceptional candidates. Responsibilities include implementing efficient data processing and pipeline architectures for rapid analysis. Qualifications include experience with performance-focused software and data processing systems. Note: This posting covers two roles: Senior Infrastructure Engineer and Senior Software Engineer (High-Performance Pipelines) at SecureBio Detection.

Remote Conditions

Onsite strongly preferred; remote (US East Coast) possible for exceptional candidates.
