PrairieLearn is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our small, bootstrapped team building an open-source assessment platform used by universities across the US. You’ll work across the stack with Node.js/TypeScript backend, Postgres, AWS, and React, and contribute to AI tooling including LLM agents to help instructors create content and vision-language models to grade student work. This is an early-stage role with meaningful ownership from day one. We’re not able to sponsor visas at this time.
