Job Description

Role: Senior Software Engineer (onsite in Delhi, India) working alongside the data entry team to increase throughput and accuracy through ML-driven and UI improvements. Triage and resolve production bugs overnight (US time) and collaborate with the US-based engineering team to integrate APIs, optimize data flow, and ship frontend and backend improvements. Responsible for overseeing projects from problem identification through deployment, including architecting solutions, running experiments, and managing rollouts. Occasional work-from-home may be available. Responsibilities: - Work with data entry team to identify bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and build tooling to increase throughput and accuracy. - Develop and implement ML-driven and UI-based improvements to internal processes. - Triage and resolve production bugs to ensure smooth operations for US-based customers each morning. - Collaborate with US-based engineers to integrate APIs, optimize data flow, and ship frontend/backend improvements. - Oversee projects from problem identification to deployment, including architecture decisions, experiments, and rollouts. Requirements: - Minimum 5 years of software development experience. - Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend practices. - Comfortable across the stack; willingness to work with backend (Python/Django) and ML pipelines as needed. - Proven track record deploying and maintaining production web applications. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially under time pressure. Preferred: - Experience with ML workflows or data processing pipelines. - Familiarity with Python/Django backend development. - Knowledge of AWS and Docker. - Experience in insurance, fintech, or data-intensive industries.
