Job Description

Lead Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale Marker Learning's AI-enhanced assessment platform. You will own front-end and back-end components (React, Node.js, TypeScript) for adaptive testing infrastructure, AI-powered scoring, and robust data pipelines, while upholding clinical rigor at scale. You will collaborate directly with psychometrics, product, and data science teams; you will make engineering decisions shaping the platform for years. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy, fast-paced role in a Series B company backed by Reach Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Primary. Requirements include 8-10+ years of software development experience, ideally with 0-to-1 or early-stage startup exposure. Qualifications: proficiency with React, Node.js, TypeScript; experience building scalable APIs, data processing pipelines, and AI/ML features is a plus; comfortable operating with ambiguity, shipping quickly, and maintaining high code quality; excellent communication skills.
