Job Description
APL is hiring a Graphics Software Engineer to build EO/IR and multispectral rendering software for integrated air and missile defense simulation and analysis. This is applied R&D/engineering work on a small multidisciplinary team supporting high-impact national security programs. Requires strong C++ and GPU rendering experience, including low-level graphics APIs, shaders, rendering pipelines, 3D geometry and linear algebra, and performance-sensitive software with profiling and optimization. Experience working in large codebases is preferred. This role is onsite in Laurel, MD and requires eligibility for a U.S. security clearance (SECRET).Location
