Job Description

GovStar is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across applications, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps workflows. Strong experience with IAM/RBAC, encryption, SIEM/logging, vulnerability management, incident response, ATO/continuous monitoring, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP/FISMA, and Azure/AWS/GCP required. Additional requirements: U.S. citizenship; must reside in U.S. in the Eastern or Central Time Zone; ability to obtain DHS Public Trust; BA/BS + at least 7 years relevant experience. Compensation varies by experience; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and an employee shares program.
