Beacon AI is hiring Senior/Lead Engineers (5+ years) to own their work end-to-end, from prototype to deployment, and see their code take flight in real-world aviation environments. Role: Senior Security Engineer. Tech Focus: FedRAMP ATO/SSP or DoD IL4/IL5, AWS GovCloud. Responsibilities include designing and implementing security controls, ensuring compliance with government standards, threat modeling, and secure software development; mentoring a small team (initially 1–2 engineers) and collaborating with product and engineering teams to secure cockpit-related systems. Requirements: 5+ years of security engineering; experience with FedRAMP/DoD GovCloud; strong cloud security, IAM, and secure SDLC knowledge.
