Pando combines plant datasets and emerging predictive models to help researchers design and optimize plant production workflows with greater speed and reliability. Job Description

Role: Build the software and data foundation behind Pando with a focus on backend systems, APIs, data infrastructure, and systems supporting ML. Translate complex scientific and experimental information into reliable, structured data. Collaborate with software engineers, biologists, and ML researchers; join early with significant ownership and help make foundational technical and architectural decisions as the platform grows. Requirements: strong backend/data systems experience, Python, relational databases, APIs, data pipelines, familiarity with MLOps, NLP/information extraction, data provenance, reproducibility, and design of experiments; comfortable with messy scientific data; authorized to work in the United States.
