Job Description

Cultivate AI is building an AI platform for credit unions. As the first technical hire on a small team, you will own the AI stack and architecture, working on retrieval over heterogeneous corpora with citations, agent orchestration and tool calling, model serving infrastructure, and third-party API integration. You will have room to experiment with hierarchical retrieval, upfront document processing, and custom agent tooling, with potential future work in fine-tuning and interpretability. Stack includes Python/FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL/pgvector, AWS, and OpenTofu. Looking for a few years of experience building production systems.
