Job Description

Senior Software Engineer to own the architecture for AI-enabled software systems at Cambium Assessment. You will design autonomous AI agents with persistent memory, shared state, and multi-step reasoning, embedding them into production EdTech products at scale. This IC role involves building agentic systems, setting up evaluation and safety frameworks, and mentoring other engineers. Tech Stack/Concepts: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, AWS Bedrock, Tool Calling, RAG, and Prompt Context Engineering. Requirements: 5+ years of full-stack experience (2+ years at a Senior level); hands-on experience building agentic systems; strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript skills; cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure). Note: Visa sponsorship is not available. Nice to have: AWS Bedrock, Strands Agents, AI evaluation frameworks, or EdTech background.
