Job Description
Lead Product Engineer (Ruby on Rails) role focused on backend product engineering within AREO's B2B SaaS platform. Requires 8+ years of experience (preferably in startups) and professional German language skills. Responsibilities include architectural leadership, feature development, and working closely with product to deliver customer-centric solutions. Backend stack mirrors the Engineering Manager role: Ruby on Rails (8.x), StimulusJS, Hotwire, Turbo, AlpineJS, Postgres, Docker, DigitalOcean, OpenAPI, and LLMs. This is a fully remote role based in Europe.
