Job Description
Backend engineer to adapt an open-source scoring engine to our custom rules and integrate it with our live data feed. This is a flat-fee contract — $3,000–$4,500 for a defined deliverable, paid in two tranches, with front-loaded work (majority completed in the first 30 days). US-based (1099). Requirements: comfortable working inside an existing open-source codebase; Node.js background; understands event-driven architecture; enough soccer knowledge to sanity-check scoring logic; US-based with a legal entity to receive 1099 payments.
