DatologyAI

At DatologyAI, we build tools to improve large-scale deep-learning models by selecting the right training data. We are automating data curation at petabyte scale, helping customers to train models faster, to better performance, and enabling smaller models to achieve performance competitive with much larger models. Models are what they eat, and the data models ingest determines everything about their capabilities. Since founding less than a year ago, we have raised $57.6M, including a $46M Series A in May 2024. Decise

Decise is a hands-on advisory and delivery firm that helps organizations unlock the full value of their technology and improve business profitability. We work directly with executives to define what should be built, then we build it. Our work spans software engineering, data platforms, analytics, and customer-facing digital products. We often operate as fractional CIOs and CTOs, guiding both the strategic direction and the technical execution of our clients’ technology initiatives. Our clients rely on us to turn complex business problems into working systems — not slide decks. White-glove service. Blue-collar grit. We’re looking for a principal-level technologist who can move between engineering, architecture, and client strategy. Most of your time will be spent building systems and writing production code. The rest will involve working directly with executives to shape technical direction and ensure the work creates real business value. Typical technologies we work with include React, Angular, Next.js, Node.js, Go, Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Domo, Streamlit, AWS, Vercel, and modern AI-assisted engineering tools. The exact stack varies by client; the ability to learn quickly and move confidently across technologies matters more than any specific tool. Strong candidates typically have 10–15 years of experience building production systems and are comfortable operating both as hands-on engineers and as technical advisors to executives. This is a long-term, full-time independent contractor engagement (1099). Everyone at Decise — including the founders — operates in this structure. Compensation is designed to be competitive with senior engineering roles at leading technology companies. The fastest way to stand out is to show us something you’ve built: a production system, GitHub repository, application, or data platform you designed.

Company Logo for Decisionly

Decisionly

Decisionly is building AI-powered dispute decisioning for card issuers, eliminating cost and enabling compliant, scalable card operations. Decisionly automates complex manual workflows end-to-end, modernizing payment infrastructure and generating unique first-party fraud insights for fintechs, processors and banks. Our founding team has a strong track record and unique founder-market fit. We founded Chargehound (backed by Y Combinator, Khosla), the first automated dispute solution for merchants like Airbnb, Uber and Doordash. PayPal acquired Chargehound in 2021. We’ve worked together since 2016. We’re looking for someone who is excited about the idea of working with a small team to solve a real pain point for credit card issuers. You’ll need to have the ability to think from both a technical and product perspective to help translate a complex business process into a scalable, automated system.
