Job Description

Ongoing 1099 contract for a mid-level UX/UI designer to work with Vue Tech, a small Bay Area product studio. Location: San Francisco Bay Area, hybrid with in-person kickoff and reviews. Start immediately after selection. First package is a fixed-price flows-and-kit package (~three weeks); after that, compensation is $50–$75/hr as each product grows. You’ll collaborate directly with the founding CTO to map flows, define structure, priorities, and what to cut, and deliver screens built from a Tailwind UI / shadcn component kit. You’ll own the UX across our one-design-system stack for B2B web apps (dashboards, content libraries, status views, auth/gate states, and a digital signage CMS). You’ll help break down the product, map flows before high-fidelity screens exist, and ensure the screens ship using tokens that map to our Tailwind theme.
