Job Description

Vitabyte builds payment and point-of-sale software for restaurants, bars, and nightclubs, primarily around Oracle MICROS Simphony. On-site in Astoria, NYC. You will own systems across the stack: Go (Echo, GORM, PostgreSQL) for the payments API and the Oracle SPI/OPI service; Next.js/React/TypeScript for the operator portal; Kotlin/Jetpack Compose for the Android card-terminal app. We’re looking for ~3–6 years of experience, strong in Go or TypeScript, and eager to learn the rest. Payments/Simphony experience is a plus, but we’ll teach it.
