About SonarMD

Healthcare AI company focused on monitoring IBD patients between doctor visits to detect clinical deterioration. Real patients, real outcomes, with HIPAA/SOC2 compliance.

Job Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer needed to join a Healthcare AI company building solutions to monitor Inflammatory Bowel Disease patients between doctor visits. You will own features across the stack (Node.js/Express backend, React/React Native frontend, and Python services), work with MongoDB Atlas and PostgreSQL, and deploy on AWS (EC2, Ansible). The team is small (5 people) with lots of data and ongoing AI/ML in production. You will ship robust, scalable systems that have real impact on patients’ lives, own your components, and drive architecture and product decisions. You’ll debug production systems, contribute to security/compliance (HIPAA/SOC2), and collaborate in a fast-moving environment. To apply, email resume to eng.hiring@sonarmd.com. If you’re really interested, send a cover letter in .md format addressing: Last 3 things you shipped to prod (preferably with failures or unexpected results), Most recent thing you learned but are embarrassed to admit you didn’t know, Your 3 biggest pain points working with AI/LLMs/agents, Most recent thing you built that you’re legitimately proud of, Preferred tech stack, and how many years of full-time production shipping you have. This is a single role (not multiple hires).
