Job Description
Role focused on securing embedded devices through hands-on security research. Day-to-day tasks include reverse engineering devices and firmware to uncover vulnerabilities, developing automated platforms for hardware reverse engineering (custom hardware, vision models, user interfaces), patching RTOS kernel functions to implement defensive device integrity checks without breaking real-time requirements, and building scalable servers to process millions of device telemetry messages across thousands of connections. You will also maintain and contribute to open-source reverse engineering tools (like OFRAK) and create demos for hacker conferences. This position is part of a broader team effort and may involve collaboration with multiple researchers. Our main office is in Manhattan, with a new office being built in Northern Virginia. US citizenship is required; active security clearance is a bonus.Remote
