We are a leading online U.S. real estate education provider maintaining a large MERN-based LMS (Node/Express, MongoDB Atlas, React, Azure). We seek a senior fullstack engineer to establish engineering oversight and standards, shaping our in-house engineering culture. Responsibilities include modernizing CI/CD and tooling, decomposing a monolith into microservices, expanding and generalizing API integrations (Stripe, BioSig, Honorlock, SendGrid, Zapier), and rebuilding student-facing surfaces with a portable design system. This is an IC role with significant ownership; you will directly influence engineering standards as we grow. You will work with founders and PM, with autonomy and no micromanagement. Remote opportunity for a scaled product (~100k users) with real revenue (not a startup). Required: >5 years of solid React + Node experience on complex MERN products, fluent English, and experience with AI-native workflows (e.g., Claude/Codex/Cursor). Remote (UTC-01:00 to UTC+03:00). Contract, full-time.
