Job Description

ParadeDB is hiring for two full-time positions. This role focuses on database internals, building the database engine in Rust (storage, indexing, query processing) and contributing to the Postgres extension that enables advanced search in Postgres. You'll work on distributed systems and performance-critical components. Note: This is one of two open roles at ParadeDB. Remote or hybrid in San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities include designing and implementing core database components in Rust; collaborating with the platform team; contributing to open-source code. Requirements include strong systems programming in Rust, knowledge of distributed systems, and familiarity with Postgres extension development.
