The team consists of ex-Unity/Google folks working on SDKs and tools for multiplayer game development, as well as their own VR titles built on their networking tech.
Job Description
Senior Backend Engineer to join Normcore.io, an autoscaling game server hosting service and Unity plugin used to build multiplayer games. This full-time remote role focuses on building and scaling our backend stack (TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL) to support multiplayer game hosting and the Unity SDK. You will own features end-to-end, contribute to a high-quality codebase with reviews and tests, and collaborate with a small, focused, world-class team of ex-Unity/Google engineers. The team is remote with flexible hours and vacation. The company has hosted over 1 billion multiplayer games and their SDK is used by 100,000+ developers. Core hours overlap with Pacific Time or Eastern Time.Remote
