Software Engineer

About krea

A company of 6 engineers making a new type of creative tool. Older creative tools wrapped computer graphics advances into a performant controllable user interface (e.g. brightness, hue, saturation, etc.) and we think modern tools should do the same for the latest AI research (e.g. diffusion models).

Job Description

Join Krea's research, product, and supercomputing teams to build large-scale multimodal model training infrastructure and creative tools. You will contribute to distributed training across Kubernetes GPU clusters, petabytes of data pipelines, WebGL2/WebGPU tooling for node-based workflows, CRDTs/OTs for collaboration, cross-service metrics, tracing, and observability, and LLM-driven JavaScript bundle optimization and testing. Note: This posting describes a single Software Engineer role that spans multiple teams (research, product, and HPC); we hire one engineer for these areas who will collaborate across teams. Onsite in San Francisco.
