The team has 2+ years of experience, an iOS prototype, validated UX, and alpha launches planned for late 2026. The founding tech team spans iOS, Flutter, AI/ML, and product design; the open role is the founding backend/full-stack engineer who will own the architecture.
Job Description
We are hiring the founding backend/full-stack engineer who’ll own the architecture. You will design APIs, data layer, real-time systems, and cloud infrastructure from scratch alongside the rest of the team, building for consumer scale from day one. Requirements include experience building and scaling backends for consumer products under real load, fluency in Python, Go, Node, or similar, strong opinions on API design, microservices, and data modeling, and comfort with event-driven architectures and production-scale AWS or GCP. Bonus: ad-serving infrastructure, partner APIs, rewards/loyalty systems. UK-based already with the team in London most days; no net-new visa sponsorship for this role.Remote Conditions
Onsite in London (3-5 days per week). UK-based; no net-new visa sponsorship.
